"Matchbox" is a song written by Carl Perkins and recorded by The Beatles for their "Long Tall Sally (EP)". Whilst the song was released on the US album Something New, it is the only Ringo track released during The Beatles lifetime that is not on a full-length UK album. It is also the only Ringo track to not be featured on any of their main studio albums.
