Kansas City is a song written by Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller. It was covered by The Beatles when they were performing as Tony Sheridan's backing group under the name "The Beat Brothers", and later to be put on their 1964 album Beatles for Sale. The Beatles are only known to have performed this song in a medley with Richard Penniman's Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey, never either song on its own.
