Eric Clapton is an English guitarist who occasionally played and recorded with members of The Beatles.
Relationship with GeorgeEdit
He was a close friend of George Harrison and played the guitar solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Parts of "Here Comes the Sun" were written in his garden. He wrote many songs, including "Layla," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Bell Bottom Blues" for George's former wife Pattie Boyd, who married Clapton after she and George were divorced.
