Blue Suede Shoes is a song originally written and recorded by Carl Perkins in 1955. Elvis Presley recorded a version in 1956 and the song became a signature tune for both musicians. A version by The Beatles (in the medley: Rip It Up/Shake, Rattle and Roll/Blue Suede Shoes), dating from the Let it Be session, is found on Anthology 3.
