- 1962 - The Beatles play both a lunchtime and night time show at the Cavern Club, Liverpool, as well as a night show at Technical College Hall, Birkenhead, Cheshire[2]
- 1963 - The Beatles play Empire Theatre, Sunderland, Durham, their final performance on the first leg of their first tour with Helen Shapiro[3]

- 1967 - At Regent Sound Studios, London, the Beatles record for the first time in a British studio other than EMI Studios, running through three takes of "Fixing a Hole"[4]
- 1970 - Ringo Starr recorded a demo of "Whispering Grass" and overdub vocals on "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" at Studio Two, EMI Studios[5]
